As "Gaïdz" means "spark" in Armenian, the Foundation takes the initiative to be and to support research that can serve as a spark in starting or promoting a renaissance in Armenian identity and heritage. The foundation is not interested in exclusive academic research without practical application to turn the serious research into public programs and projects.
