On May 31, 2026, at St. Sarkis Church in London, His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhanessian, PhD, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the invitation of His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Diocese.

Following the service, Bishop Vahan presented the work of the international GAIDZ initiative and the GAIDZ-UK Charitable Foundation, highlighting the critical importance of preserving, digitizing, researching, translating, and publishing Armenia’s rich manuscript and literary heritage.

He outlined the Foundation’s international programs and partnerships, demonstrating how advanced digital technologies, scholarly research, and educational initiatives are helping safeguard and promote Armenia’s spiritual, cultural, and intellectual legacy for future generations.

The presentation was followed by a lively discussion during which Bishop Vahan answered numerous questions about GAIDZ’s global mission, ongoing projects, and future goals. He emphasized the essential role of donors, scholars, and community partners in ensuring the success and long-term impact of these efforts.
